I currently matriculate as a student at Columbia University in the City of New York. I am affiliated with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. I am a candidate in the Master of Arts program in Political Science. My area of specialization is Political Economy more specifically I study quantitative methods in political analysis.
I previously matriculated at the University of Oregon wherein I graduated with a Bachelor of Science with departmental honors and a double major in Economics and Political Science. Additionally, I graduated with Latin honors Summa Cum Laude and was a six-time consecutive member on the Dean's list. I am also the recipient of the Centurion Award given to students for dedication and outstanding service as a student leader during my time as an undergraduate student.
I previously held the position of President at the Economics Club and served as Treasurer for the Undergraduate Law Association. Additionally, I served as a member of the Undergraduate Student Advisory Board and served on the Steering Committee for the College of Arts and Sciences wherein I helped draft the strategic plan for the college.
My research interests are concentrated on how macroeconomic policies shape political decisions and consequently study the quantitative outcomes of enacting such policies and their long and short-term effects on the economy. In the past, I have conducted studies examining the connection between environmental politics and the US Political Economy more of which can be found on my research page.
